Community Engagement Coordinator

Hours: Part-Time, 20-25 hours per week

Flexible schedule with some evening and weekend hours

Location: Pepper Pike

Salary: Hourly

Supervisor: Executive Director

Job Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and build relationships with individuals, corporations and groups to donate their time to Fostering Hope’s mission

• Recruiting, training and scheduling volunteers

• Plan and organize volunteer events, including logistical arrangements, purchasing supplies, promoting events, scheduling and being the primary point of contact for the event

• Managing the Donation Center through regular volunteers

• Managing the volunteer database

• Oversee all volunteer communications and marketing needs

• Collaborate with Development and Program staff to ensure effective communications

• Other administrative and management duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills Needed:

• Bachelors Degree required, degree, coursework or related work experience in areas such as nonprofit administration/management, communications social work or other related degrees

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills

• Experience using GSuite and donor management systems preferred

• Strong public speaking skills and ability to manage large groups

• Willingness to step in and help across programs and organizational needs

• Dedication to the mission

• Some evening and weekend hours required

• Background check conducted
