December provides a number of opportunities for you to personally impact a child in foster care.
Wish List Santas receive a wish list from a child in foster care. Shop for gifts from the list and deliver unwrapped gifts in gift bags to the donation center by December 9th. Our volunteers will deliver the gifts to the child for the holidays. ($150 -$200 in-kind donation).
Fostering Hope’s elves will deliver stockings to foster children across Cleveland.
Host a giving tree with your office, church, or school. Receive custom, tags with gift requests from 3 or more children.
Members of your organization can take a tag to fulfill the wishes and put them in a Holiday gift bag to be delivered. ($450+ in-kind donation).
Donate Journey Bag Items
Fostering Hope delivers 800 Journey Bags a year to children entering foster care to provide comfort and dignity. Help ensure we can continue this important work by purchasing items from our wish list below.
We will host volunteer events in the first 2-3 weeks of December for individuals, families and groups. Volunteers will sort and wrap gifts, personalize and fill stockings, and help us bring holiday cheer.
If you are looking for activities to do from home, you can print Fostering Hope ornament tags and Holiday greeting cards to color and decorate with your family.
You can then mail to Fostering Hope: 5351-C Naiman Parkway, Solon, OH 44139
If you are donating gifts or a stocking, you are welcome to add these to your gifts!
