Hope in Balance Art Instructor

Fostering Hope is a local non-profit that enriches the lives of children living in residential treatment and foster care. Founded in 2013, Fostering Hope provides services to OhioGuidestone, Beech Brook, Bellefaire, Applewood and Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services. Fostering Hope is looking for a qualified Art Therapist, with a heart for kids in residential treatment, to grow it's Hope in Balance trauma informed yoga program.

Hours:​ Part-time  Part-time (1-4 classes a week) Morning and afternoon availability required

Location:​ Greater Cleveland, west side

Salary:​ per class

Supervisor:​ Hope in Balance Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach weekly trauma informed art classes to clients in residential treatment facilities
• Provide occasional summaries of classes to Hope in Balance Coordinator
• Participate in occasional continuing education classes and meetings

Qualifications & Skills Needed:

• Must have experience teaching art classes with children and teens
• Trauma informed training or familiarity with residential treatment population required
• Able to think on feet and adjust to client needs
